Our Story

We capped our very first batch of toothpaste in 1994. As a proud pioneer in toothpaste manufacturing in Asia, particularly in the ASEAN region, American Lion has since delivered billions of smiles across the globe as a specialist in formulating, customizing and manufacturing toothpaste exclusively for private label owners and internationally renowned brands.

Over the years, our specialist R&D team have creatively formulated for our clients over 50 brands of toothpaste with flavours ranging from children’s toothpaste to sensitive formulas, catering to diverse needs and the growing multicultural target markets globally.

Our strategic location in Malaysia has spurred its reach across five continents worldwide. Under privately owned brands, our toothpastes are distributed in South East Asia, Australia, the USA, Mexico, and the Middle East. Now, through rapidly expanding strategic networks, we include our partners in the UK, France, Turkey and Denmark.
