You’ll be pleased to know that American Lion has proudly earned some of the manufacturing industry’s most stringent seal of approval which guarantees our utmost excellence and continuous care in quality and safety.

Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) - American Lion in its early years was among the first manufacturers to be awarded with the GMP even before the Ministry of Health (Malaysia) made the GMP a compulsory certification for all local oral care manufacturers.
ISO 9001 (since year 2000) - This ensures our internal quality management systems to be in place for better effectiveness and productivity benefits - all of which facilitate our best delivery to you.
Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) - American Lion has been certified with the HAACP despite it being a standard certification for food manufacturers. The HAACP analyses critically the entire manufacturing process to ensure all production details from the ingredients to the end product and interactions with its physical environment are able to counter and minimise any health risks at any point of production to consumers.
British Retailer Consortium (BRC) - This certification credits us as a preferred manufacturing supplier for British retailers’ products with private brand names. Our safety guidelines, warehouses, factory plant, manufacturing flow, environmental footprint and even our ethical practices are scrutinized before being certified by the BRC.
HALAL Certification - Awarded by the Malaysian Department of Islamic Development (JAKIM*) the trusted HALAL symbol simply means that our partners who cater to their respective Muslim consumers are rest assured of American Lion’s strict adherence to Syari’ah guidelines in the formulating and manufacturing all toothpastes and future products.
Now proud to be certified Kosher by the Orthodox Union.
